Citizenship/Civics Education

The greatest opportunity  people who have chosen to make the United States their home is to become legalized citizens.

With this opportunity comes responsibilities. Starting with the responsibility to become aware of what being a citizen of this great country means.

The SW ABE Marshall Region offers the classes to educate our students of the responsibilities and take them through the process of becoming a citizen as well as an informed individual.

We offer three classes/programs to achieve this goal.

1. Citizenship Classes

2. ESL Classes

3. Learning thru Sharing Program

Students may choose to take advantage of one, two, or all three of the classes. Each class offers elements the student will need to become citizens.

Marshall classes are on Friday Noon to 3PM and on Saturday 9AM-11AM at the SW ABE office on 3rd floor of the Lyon County Government.

Walnut Grove classes are Wednesdays and Fridays 9AM - 11AM at the Walnut Grove School. Phone: (507) 537-7046
